Unpopular Opinion. Mario Cristobal

Fans would have marched on UM if we'd hired Cristobal after Golden. At the time, would have basically been considered a cheapskate hire, Al Golden or Randy Shannon on steroids, proof that the school was not going to pay for a quality coach.

3. Manny Diaz would be running for some political job off the coattail of his Dad

4. Feagles would be punting in PEE-WEE football

5. Robert Knowles would be locked away for endagrement to hurt other football programs

6. Dorsey would be on this staff so would Vilma and/or Ed Reed

Hopefully when RIcht leaves he is up next.

Said this some time ago. I'm watching Oregon real closely as MC would probably be a front runner here if the position became available. With a staff of legit coaches and him as the CEO/recruiter, I think it could work. Him as HNIC and a staff of recruiters (ie: Coley) and we will be a joke.

I wouldnt mind cristobal just as long as he understood his limitations and hired accordingly.

He’s is family so be glad he has done so well. HC at OE is not bad gig. People need to stop hating our Canes. It goes against the very heart of being a Cane. Local kid, former player and coach, what else defines Cane.

And just 10 months ago we were #2 in the CFP, Richt was going to be here until HE decided to kick Blake James out and assume the role of AD, and Manny Diaz was Coach in Waiting.
