Unnoticed Key Plays That Changed The Game

He is small for a D-end. We can call him a stand up D-end or whatever we want, but he looks like what he is, a LB converted to D-end. But he’s pretty good despite his size.
The challenge, however at that size, is can he hold up over the course of a game or will he be beaten down if he has to pay too many snaps.
He's built for the 3-4 edge LB position. He'll play in a 3-4 defense at the next level.

Cj and Lyle need more touches. Theyre more dynamic than any of our starters at the skill position.

One more thing, is it me or does it seem like MC is holding back some of our more dynamic players on the roster even though they're freshman.

I gove credit to Dawson getting Johnsons some opportunities but he needs more. It feels like he's going to break a td almost every time he touches the ball.
The more he shines the more chances he'll get.

Yup! He gave the team and fans juice with that one. Pry def showed why his one score game record is what it is
Overall momentum finally turned in our favor after that. I'm still laughing that their coach didn't simply try to take the easy points on that.

And the squib kick....just why would you do that and not boom it into the end zone? With the time left, there would have been very little chance of us getting points out of a touch back. They are lucky we didn't take that squib to the house....**** our guy probably *should* have broken that tackle and housed it.

I honestly think Johnson’s kick return (and Pry’s idiotic decision to squib it there) are the reason we were able to win. If you go into half down 10 with them getting the ball back and the defense getting picked apart like it was I don’t know that you come out on top.
pry also chose to call a TO with ~25 seconds left before his end-of-half FG attempt, which left us the time to do it. utterly baffling. his clock management at the end of both halves was horrific.

he flashes in every game. Hes tough, strong and has the rip move down pat.
hes alston back upo....but while alston was point shaving (missed 2 sacks that led to tds) he i promised would of made those plays.

whenever he is in he flashes thats all you can ask for...by sr year he should be a 250-255pd problem to deal wit now that he is definately know his role because i think he is likely sitting around 6'2 235-240 now.
