Wasn't he passing the ball alot at Holy Cross? From what little I've seen of UNLV, they are running more triple-option with some passing, kind of like what Navy is doing this season. Perhaps, as someone mentioned on this thread, he agreed to incentives on his NIL which won't be realized with this offense. What a mess. Football is the ultimate team sport. To have your QB bolt in the middle of season is crazy.

Watched the Kansas game, wasn't much triple option.

Dude dropped back, made one read and took off. Definitely a nifty runner that made things happen and got first downs.

But It was one of the most ridiculous offensives i've ever seen win a game.

obviously we don’t know the story. A few avenues to look at it is hey unlv took a chance on you from holy cross you accepted the terms, you should honor them. Were those terms not upheld is another question.

If he thinks just becuase unlv is on a good run he should renegotiate mid season **** him. If you watched that ku game the kid is in for a rude awakening next market cycle.

Like I said, this one depends on the facts. If they really reneged on payments, his only recourse is sitting out and preserving his redshirt. Otherwise, he’d be letting himself get ****ed.
