CIS porsters LIVE FOR for exactly this type of situation.Jesus Christ the comments on this thread are all over the place like a drunken Kardashian at Urban weekend on South Beach. About as dumb as a Kardashian as well.
Recap: 21/22 year old QB no one has ever heard of tweets he’s leaving a program no one follows midstream for NIL reasons. CiS porsters go nuts attacking school. Another porster questions validity and the tide switches directions.
How about this? Let it play out legally as I’m certain contracts are involved. THEN you can MF the school, the kid or both. Or F it, judge away!!!
Agreed. This is what keeps the NCAA around. NCAA is not needed. They for years over looked the Bama's and SEC Teams paying players under the table because they were a part of that good old boys club. Just a bunch of old dudes collecting a lot of money to over look things when convenient for there buddies. I don't agree with this kid quitting, but it's his prerogative. I don't believe this is going to set a precedence.STOP MAKING THIS PUBLIC.
This is what the NCAA is trying to hang on to when they go to court to fight for restrictions.
If we’re not able to speculate or overreact based on limited or second hand knowledge, the internet may as well shutdown.I'll wait for more facts to come out in discovery before drawing conclusions. There's a ton that can be going on here.

More bottles of lube will be used than a Diddy party by noon.

If this is true, that school should get a two year vacation...........Heard he was offered more money to transfer. Kind of odd that someone would make an offer mid-season.
The other way to look at it is that he has a historically bad team undefeated and ranked in the coaches poll. Maybe he did ask for more. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle but he sucks for quitting on his teammates. It’s stupid of him to take a RS like this now. No coach is going to want a player like this next year especially when his numbers aren’t great and only his team’s record is.Judging by his numbers, this is not a case of a kid trying to get more money. It looks more like a case of “you’re not playing as well as we thought you would when we offered you money so we’re just not going to pay you”. Nobody completing 45% of their passes is shopping for a bigger payday.
sounds like theyre not paying him what they promised. no holy cross transfer who isnt playing well is gonna hold a team hostage midseasonThe devil is in the details. If he tried to renegotiate midseason, it’s a different story.
But if they promised him money and didn’t pay, he did nothing wrong. Otherwise, he’d be willingly letting some rich people ***** him and his family over with no recourse.
sounds like theyre not paying him what they agreed to aka rashadaI don’t understand the ‘breaking promises’ thing. Did this kid not sign an NIL contract? He just went to UNLV because they said ‘hey bro, we’ll pay you. Pinky promise!’
