Under the radar coach you would like

In order for us not to skip a beat, I think our BEST option is bringing in an offensive minded coach who will keep Coley as the OC, because he can still recruit, but will not let him call plays anymore. Then we need a stud DC and I would say keep all the local South Florida HS coaches and we good.

Our weak spots can be taken care of. OL, playcalling, all can be fixed while keeping the recruiting intact.

Kinda scared Pruitt is just waiting for a big time SEC job to open up. But I'm all for it.

I don't think the big time SEC programs like bama, LSU, etc. would hire him. They'd empty the bank on a Saban type hire. ****, even sorry *** Arkansas broke the bank to steal an experienced HC from a good big ten program.

They sure did, and it's worked out real well for them. If you don't count their conference games.

So are you agreeing with me or not,..

I don't want coley calling plays. Ever.

Downgrade him to position coach/recruiting coordinator or tell him to walk.

What is with the hard on people have for USC from Miami. I live in LA and I would never want the Canes to be anything like USC. That University is a breeding ground for NFL busts!

Under the radar guys are under the radar as they are unproven.

Sorta like Golden.

Although some mentioned here are worser.

Serious question -- Do you have a list of coaches you would like to see evaluated? (And don't list Butch more than once or have a one name list that says Butch)

My preferences/guidelines:

- + HC experience,

- Young > old,

- + Professional experience,

- Don't need to believe the guy we're hiring is a lifer (There will always be another HC),

- Alumni can be deceiving,

- Please No (as HC) Cubano or Chumpiano

Hiring Schiano...and I'll say this everytime he is mentioned...is just a big **** you to the fans and a white flag to our opponents.

A guy i'm curious to see in a few years is Jake Spavital. He seems to be a smart young coach on the rise who has good experience with QBs and has learned from Sumlin about high powered offenses.

I like him a lot but too young as you said.
