NC St didn't cross the 50 til 5 mins left in the 4th...
Don’t think they even ran a play in UM territory until that last drive with the reserves in.Unreal
And half their yards were on the final drive of the game against back up back ups
Never thought I’d see us dominate an offense worse than we did Florida but today was actually more impressive
The refs even tried to help them out a lot and they had to fight tooth and nail for a yard or two
Incredible especially this day and age of football

Excited to see the numbers when I do the stat roll thread Monday. I’m guessing we’re in the top 5 now in yards per play allowed and scoring defense. Or at least real close.
They can 50 plays for 143 yards. Just a merciless **** kicking by our kids on defense. Jesus.
Our best players on defense are Scott, Thomas, Mesidore, and Bain.Idk why we are gonna split hairs here lol but okay. I’ll downgrade it since we were missing 3 starters but only one was good
Yup exactly. That was the most dominant defensive performance I can rememberAnd that offense is wayyy better than Florida’s.
Their last 2 games, against teams that were ranked this morning (Pitt and GT), they had a combined 1028 yards of offense.

And without Scott I didn’t think we’d lose or anything but thought there would be more mistakes
The LBs have been ok. I like what I’m seeing from Popo. Chase Smith has provided nice veteran depth. But agreed, that room has the lowest ceiling on the defense. We need more talent thereImagine how great the defense would be if we had some LB's to pair with the D-Line and secondary.
Mesidor wasn't as big a prospect before . I couldn't believe Mel Kiper had Mesidor #2 behind BainJust superior athletes everywhere
Our DL is monsterous. Besides the obvious of Bain and Mesidor, Scott has turned a corner and is disrupting everything.
Scroggins when he was in there was pushing their OL back lol. So much fun to watch
And some walk ons90 yards through 55 mins. Needed our 3rd sting in on that last drive
And it needs to be said that the secondary played out of their minds today which I was so excited to see. This was against a very explosive offense not the glorified HS team we played last week. It seems as if the secondary is really beginning to gel. This is without OJ and Keonte to boot which makes it even more impressive. Give those 2 another week to heal before Pitt. All season I've been waiting patiently for this secondary to have everything click for them and it appears as though that is exactly what has happened. Xavier Lucas had the best game of his UM career and Jakobe Thomas was lights out. Bryce Fitzgerald continues to get more comfortable and Ethan O’Connor also played great.Unreal
