So you’re in favor of him manipulating young children for his financial benefit?

There are other highly qualified African Americans available, highly educated, with non-shady backgrounds, who worked their asses off to go through school, law school, get advanced degrees and are honest as the day is long. How about giving them a chance?

I couldn’t agree more.

I hate to see these young players come into all this wealth and then in a few years have lost it all due to their lack of financial discipline, or shady business associates, and of course all the friend/family hanger-ons that now think they’re owed a livelihood (even though they did nothing to earn it). Or a combination of all of the above.

Money management is a skill that is not commonly taught anywhere, no matter your socioeconomic strata, so just about everyone starts out as poor money managers right out of college anyway.

At least the NFL is making those wealth management resources available, but I think they need to make more of an impact in their rookie education - they don’t seem to be getting through.

But at the very least, these guys need to stay away from people who are going to rip them off. There are too many great ways to invest and make money for them to take risks with some dude that has the magic answer. There is no magic answer. Just tried and true methods that work over time.

Why am I not surprised this poster is in full support of the predatory behavior of an adult just because he is black?

NCAA or colleges should also have financial counseling offered for athletes.

Then the NFL could also offer further counseling called.

Financing your entourage .

This stuff most of the time doesn’t work you can offer this stuff will be empty class , bling , sports cars , entourages rule they’ll never stop way way below there pride .

If you're a gifted athlete, getting the money is easy. Yet strung out along the highway are the Multitudes who couldn't manage it..

How's he being a predator, his wife is the lawyer and agent isn't that correct? I could see if she were totally unqualified but I think we should stick together and who ever thinks its racists or what ever ....

I get your point about black people sticking together, but Luke is a piece of sht, and it makes no sense to support him because he happens to be a black piece of sht.

If that's the way you want to go, do your thing, but I just can't see supporting this self-serving dipsht.

Signing a contract has 0 to do w social injustice, especially when the said cause is promoting ur spouse’s business.
 
Just my thoughts here .

If I got drafted and sign $10,000,000.00 contract with example $2-3 million signing bonus I figured I could live off $500,000.00 a year including housing food and an average $30K car with some for mom each year.

Figuring I have 3-5 years of NFL play , anything over these years is gravy for average Safe Mutual Funds and yes a 1/3 in gold.

Then after your time your all set .

But with all the warnings given by NFL and others , you say my uncle knows what’s best he’s been through a lot and experienced from the streets.

Oh and an investment in solar panels in Oregon abandon house development with huge promis of $$$ a year.
