this man was paid the second largest buyout of all time, and some cvm dumpster tries to bring race into the equation.

Spin it however you want, Taggert was handed a 7-6 team that was rotten from the core. Hes not a good coach but it doesn't look good to fire him midseason and not even give him a chance to see if they could have went to a bowl game.

That said, I cant help but think that the clown show we saw from the FSU players (highlighted by Kirk Herbstreit) didn't help Taggerts cause. Losing and losing like a bunch of fake tough guy punks doesn't make Taggert look good as coach either. I think that had more to do with his firing then the record. I know ole school FSU fans who absolutely hated the culture Taggert brought to the team with all the dancing, trash talk, chippyness, etc. That's not the kind of program FSU is and ultimately cost Taggert his job.

Oh please. You really think Willie is gonna turn this around? You think Shannon was on the edge of something great if he only had more time. Everything is not racist! And you really think it doesn't hurt the collective chances of getting a job when it's nearly impossible to fire a black coach without being labeled a racist? Willie may have been dismissed as the HC, and yes he was dealing with a train wreck of a program because Jumbo screwed them royally, but Willie should have never been hired. What in the **** did he ever prove as a coach anywhere?
