Walker has met the qualifications for a transfer waiver, the NCAA announced on Thursday.

He has missed the team’s first four games after the NCAA denied his immediate eligibility before the start of the 2023 season. After taking a brief hiatus following the final appeal denial, he has since continued to practice with the Tar Heels as a scout team member.
