UNC transfer Devontez Walker denied too - NCAA changed their mind, he's eligible now

Oh no not Kent States finest! How do we combat this?

He’s a pro prospect?? Oh wowwwwww not like the NFL projections have ever been ****

Yawn
Lawyers and Mack Brown...who got paid off at NCAA? Where does this leave FSU & others who have had transfers denied? Quite the joke this selective process & why the NCAA gets no respect.

what a clown show, the NCAA is now saying North Carolina just provided new information, which they did not submit before. What??

But the NCAA will not say what the new info is.

There is a poster on here that was on staff for his first school which didn't even count b/c the ***** quit the team before the season even started.

This kid has transferred like 4x already.
He went to east Tennessee and got hurt. Never played in a game and doesn’t appear he practiced as he hurt his knee summer 2019. They gave him a gray shirt with a return set for spring 2020. He ended up transferring to North Carolina central in January 2020 and didn’t suit up with them until April 2021 due to injuries and Covid. He then transferred to Kent state in may 2021.

He never played in a game for another program besides Kent state, and practiced for a month if that, during the spring with North Carolina central.

Jackson on the other hand suited up and played in games for two D1 programs. Big difference.

ETSU needs to clarify if he enrolled into a class that Summer or not. Doesn't matter if he ever played, matters if he took one class.

Cool. I hope they're undefeated when we play them too, FSU as well for that matter!

So this is his fourth school.

Guess what, you don't get to write the rules and excuse the fact that he "didnt play in a game for those other schools". The way that you WANT to read the rules is not how the rules are actually applied.

Stop white-knighting for this guy.

How the rules are actually applied? Well that’s how the NCAA sees it because they ruled him eligible.

Are you going to argue that the NCAA is incorrectly applying the rules even though they’re the ones who actually wrote them?

You’re only upset because it’s not Miami.

If this was a Miami player we would have been losing our minds at the NCAA for not ruling him eligible earlier.

Thank you for proving my point that he's been at 4 schools.

You can put a dress and lipstick on a pig ... but it's still a pig.
