UM's marketing needs to be fired too

I hate it when marketers use statistics to distort reality. Who do they think they are fooling? What's next "we have a top 15 defense"? Celebrate the players great but don't give us this BS. View attachment 26816

Apparently you don't understand how marketing works.

Start with a quality product. The era of pet rocks and magic jumping beans is over.

You're just trying WAY too hard. We get it. You don't like the administration. Whatever. But making silly complaints like this is just embarrassing.

mmmmm... embarrassing.. we know a lot about that lately don't we?

How dare you tout a 12-1 home record-in print, at that, when the overall numbers suck. I think that's what the OP is getting at....(rolls eyes). Yes, we are 12-1 at home....but who da fck have we played at home in those 13 games? Post their collective wins/winning percentage. Again, let's not lose sight of the fact that we don't play all of our games at home? If we did, maybe we have a legitimate shot at a championship? Lmao. See, this is why I fck'g HATE ALfraud Golden. Proverbial used car salesman.

Over the last 13 home games we lost only one game to VT (8-5) last year. We beat 2 non-major teams, we went 5-1 in the ACC, and beat Florida. I don’t care if they suck, any win over them is a good win.

We are trending up at home. We got to pull off the upset against FSU.

So happened that they reached back to the 2012 season, but chose to start after we lost b2b home games.... If you're gonna use any of 2012, you gotta include all of it.

Have you seen some of the stats that your friends are using against Golden?

2-17 against teams that have finished the year with 7 or more wins.

You're honor. The defense rests.

He got 4 likes for this even though at the time:
1. We played 20 teams that had 7 or more wins from 2011-13 (not including non-major conference teams).
2. We won 8 of those games and lost 12.

Still not great stats but do we really have to make up stats to make the staff look bad?

Here is another one that all 9 of his friends liked:

Lmao at trending up.

Here's a real dose of reality for you lunatics. You wanna know how Golden is doing lately? The end of his 3rd year, start of his 4th have been a ******* disaster and a nightmare. These numbers should get you fired from Wake Forest.

- Al Golden is 3-7 in his last 10 games vs Power 5 conference teams
- Average loss by 19 points
- Al Golden is 1-5 in his last 6 road games
- Defeated by an average of 17 points
- Al Golden is 6-7 in his last 13 games overall

**** outta here. "Oh he has a top 5 class for 4016!" You're the same people that were beating your chest last December about his class, What happened? The thing fell apart.

And it doesn't matter anyway, more recruits for the staff to waste? If programs kept coaches on because of one class Ron Zook would be roaming the UF sidelines this weekend. Use your brain fvckboys.

Miami doesn't need a recruiting class, it needs a competent coach.

At least this was not made up. But noticed how this streak starts at our first loss in 2013 at FSU and disregarded our 7-0 start. I'm not disputing these stats as they are not pretty, but that's how stats work. The 12-1 is exactly what it is and it should have been 13-0.

What complaint? You're currently lost on this topic..And who is we?

I actually think Marketing is the one area we're elite. If there were some actual substance behind it, it wouldn't be so difficult to deal with. They're doing a good job of branding. It just so happens that when you sell, sell, sell and don't produce, it's going to rub many the wrong way. That's not on Marketing/Branding.

We gotta be elite at something so this and coloring books might be it.
