I hate it when marketers use statistics to distort reality. Who do they think they are fooling? What's next "we have a top 15 defense"? Celebrate the players great but don't give us this BS. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1414412576.763329.webp

At this point, having lost the sidewalk & casual fans, they should create and foster a soccer type atmosphere @ the stadium. Hire a few dozen peeps to sit on the N side to heckle the opposing team. Invite everyone from local rappers to death metal bands to perform @ halftime, have Chad Thomas spittin lyrics from the sideline.

Do something....anything to improve that crypt of a stadium.

Leadership at the U has no idea about competent marketing and customer service. Oh wait, I'm wrong, their idea is that if they have it we will buy it, end of story!

How dare you tout a 12-1 home record-in print, at that, when the overall numbers suck. I think that's what the OP is getting at....(rolls eyes). Yes, we are 12-1 at home....but who da fck have we played at home in those 13 games? Post their collective wins/winning percentage. Again, let's not lose sight of the fact that we don't play all of our games at home? If we did, maybe we have a legitimate shot at a championship? Lmao. See, this is why I fck'g HATE ALfraud Golden. Proverbial used car salesman.

I'm sorry, but that whole "12-1 in last 13 home games" is absolutely, positively PATHETIC...and any one of you fools popping your collars over this cherry-picked boulschit needs to be run outta town along with this clown *** corch.

James should not be AD.

If we refused to go outside, Freet was the best candidate available.

So James had 5 years experience as the AD at the University of Maine, but Chris Freet was a better selection? Wasn't Chris the Senior AD for Communications, Marketing and Sales before he left for Arkansas? LoL

I don't care if was the head cashier of Wendy's, James is a retarded puppet. I would have taken ebola over Freet.

Freet wasn't my top guy but I rather have the young, energetic and caring guy in charge then the retarded puppet.

For everyone shytting on this attempt to create demand and sell tickets, what should the marketing department do? I hate F.A.G. as much as anyone, and want to see him gone yesterday, but I see nothing wrong with a department charged with stimulating demand, doing something that they think will stimulate demand. Do you think that they have a better chance of achieving their goal by using the full statistics over that period of time, or using the statistics they used?

The last two guys were young, energetic guys who bolted at first opportunity for bigger athletic departments.

Same b.s. is happening at Michigan and the AD is taking a lot of abuse for not throwing Brady Hoke under the bus. They had petitions demanding his resignation after the Morris incident. Nobody would give a rats if Michigan was winning. This will all play out at Michigan as Hoke is a dead man walking.

Got it, you don't like James because he won't throw Golden under the bus and he isn't all in with a new football stadium. The next priority is getting an indoor practice facility on campus.

BTW, here is what Jeremy Foley said about Will Muschamp last week after that embarrassing home loss against Missouri. “At the beginning of the season we said we would evaluate the season as it plays out,” Foley said, per GatorZone.com. “We will continue to do so. Our sole focus right now is supporting our coaching staff and players as they prepare for Georgia.”

Lindy Sparby, and UM's marketing are highly responsible for Carter's experience. So excuse me if I think unkind but probably true things about the op.
