UM???

A few of our players were openly partying in large crowds last month. No surprise. Somehow were good now though. 9/10 here we come.

I have more important things to worry about. 0-25 lower death rate under Coronavirus than the common flu. Google it.... I can’t think of one thing that’s not of greater importance in my life right now, than some 19 year olds hanging out in their dorm room. Next
Wear a condom 🙌

Idk what people expect? If the kids stay home they’ll be parting with their friends at home. What is the difference.
The only real difference is that they won't be able to go to grandma's house for Sunday dinner and give it to her. We are better off them partying there for sure.

Another step closer to herd immunity

They're gonna be ok...

Big difference. Endanger your own family and your close circles who don’t care, but by all means don’t take it outside...not to campus. This is exactly why I’ve held back my kids from face-face school this semester.

That's not the issue...what happens when they run into professors, janitors, coaches, administration staff on campus. This virus is obviously not a threat to the college kids but they're easily contagious and could affect others who are older or having undermining illness on campus or at stores, etc.

The teachers and janitors should be distancing...same with people with comorbidities.

College kids are the most delusional people on earth... if universities think they aren’t going to party on campus, they are completely oblivious to all of this... just keep athletes all virtual if any of this is
going to work

Easier said than done...

Imagine students running into adults at Publix just to do grocery shopping.

What about the gym? Both students and professors use the same facility.

These are just 2 of many examples where students carrying the virus is a big threats to others.

Teams just need to keep their own numbers low.

If a team’s positivity is 2% and the rest of the school is 12%, there isn’t much of an argument to cancel football.

This is gonna have to be how it goes.

Look, most of us here are grown men. And we have hourly battles on social distancing, masks, the lethality of the virus, the severity of it, etc. And we're grown adults. If you think 18-22 year old kids are going to take this seriously in masses, you're out of your mind. It's going to absolutely blow through universities. No 19 year old kid is going to hide under his bed and not try to get drunk and laid over a virus that has a .005% chance of killing him.

So it's up to the football programs to essentially create their own bubbles and to convince the athletes to be smart. IMO, regardless of what happens at universities, if there are not outbreaks within the teams, the show will go on. So you've got to just hammer the players.....BE SMART. Don't jeopardize the other 84 kids with your actions. It's ******, no doubt. Because these kids have a life outside of football. But it can't be that way this year. If we really wanna play, it's gotta be football and home. And stay distanced from everyone as much as humanly possible, plus test, test, and test some more.

Stay out of the gym if you're worried about catching the Vid.

Then watch them cut loose in January.
