Tightwad Hill (or Charter Hill) is a cool experience to watch the game from outside the stadium. Tickets should be easy to get and cheap, so unlikely anyone here traveling will watch game from outside the stadium, but cool nonetheless

Take the BART into Berkeley and you are 15m walk from the stadium. Decent college bars around that station, but Berkeley is nothing like a good ol college town in the South

I could be blindfolded and know when I'm in Berkeley. As soon as you enter the city limits you're immediately overcome with the smells of weed and urine.

Yeah everyone should probably BART into Berkeley for best experience. Parking and tailgating isn't really an option as far as I know.
