VT has a better than average run game…but not great…not even top 30 in the country

Their passing game, which we’ve held in check is literally one of the worst passing offenses in the country.

Point is..we can’t key in stopping their strength..,and the strength ain’t that good. They have 128 yards at half, which puts them on track to be better than their average.

I HOPE we stuff them in the 2nd half….but yes we are playing like garbage against the run. We aren’t playing a Top 25 team, where we might be ecstatic about being up 20-3, but instead we are up 20-3, while tackling poorly against a team that is 3-7 with a loss to Old Dominion

I mean kyron drones adds an element to the run game that makes it tough to stop. Also doesn’t help he’s throwing all 240 pounds of him at the defenders for the first time all year.

It’s part of a larger issue of limiting our opportunities. We should be trying to get 12+ possessions a game. Not getting into slow plodding games with 3-7 teams. We do the same with 7-3 teams and we lose.
