So Nevada is a melting pot state. Not a lot of natural born Nevadians; most have come through from LA,Long Beach, Utah due to great homes at an affordable rate w no State Tax. I knew some families who were in the Inland Empire (another strong area for football in CA), and b/c the IE is next door to Vegas, they were getting their kids in on schollies at some of the private schools. This was like early late 2000’s, early 2010’s. Not sure if that’s still happening, but the melting pot is a fa sho thing.
