UM (Michigan) in big trouble ?

Michigan fans are trying to spin this as a case of a disturbed lone wolf who used his own money to finance this operation. I think they are delusional, but we will see.
Even that statement is true, he still had to give the info to someone. And there’s no way in the second highest level of football the HC wouldn’t know this. Especially one like Harbaugh. Those morons think their **** doesn’t stink and there’s no way a golden Michigan man would ever do this. Gtfo.

I’ll never understand how fans can think their HC is oblivious to rule breaking. I’m sure no one knew about Shapiro. I’m sure Pitino didn’t know prostitutes were f*cking recruits. No chance Saban is aware of bags being dropped.

When you take a step back, this just shows how truly slimy college football is these days and the depth of the crazy things that football programs will do. Money puts a lot of pressure on everyone.
I’d bet my children’s college savings Michigan isn’t the only one. Harbaugh just rocked the wrong boat and ****ed the wrong person off.

I also think Harbaugh is arrogant enough to assume he’d get another NFL gig after one successful CFB season. Which didn’t happen, now he has to keep this charade up until some poorly run organization, uh the Raiders, hires him. No one goes to an interview like he did with the Vikings and inform everyone he’s not coming back unless their ego is too **** big.

There’s nothing to believe, there’s quite literally a Mountain hill of evidence that shows that’s exactly what they did.
I think you’re misreading me. This is both very obvious but admittedly absurd. I mean buddy is on the sideline with spy glasses?? Did my pre-k son write this script? 😆

I have a feeling Riley bounces for some reason
God.. if this happened I'd be so dissapointed unless we got an elite GM who gets a top DC to pair with him... Like Sean McVay+ Wade Phillips to start his HC career with Rams....

Maybe like 49ers or Steelers Assistant GM + Riley + like a Jim Schwartz (obviously having to outpay Browns)... I mean I'd be okay I guess. Imagine Caleb Williams pulls an Eli/Elway and says he'll only play for the Raiders then... I mean it all feels like it makes sense. I'm sure Lincoln and Caleb would love being in Vegas after a few years in LA...

But I'd prefer just getting Harbaugh if I'm honest. At the very least I'd feel confident he'd get us to be perrenial playoff contender. I wouldn't mind a young offensive guy with NFL OC experience. Guess from there you have Ben Johnson from Lions, Shane Waldron from Seahawks, Ken Dorsey, or lastly Kellen Moore...

Think there are just better DCs though: Raheem Morris from 49ers, Schwarts from Browns, Anarumo from Bengals...

Look, even if you want to make the general point about "coaches know", you did a terrible job of it with "no one knew about Shapiro".

First, as is well-documented, Randy Shannon tried to NOT have the players interacting with Shapiro.

Second, there is a fundamental difference between Shapiro letting players stand inside of his velvet-rope VIP area at the club, and a university-paid coach (or coaches) assembling illegal video libraries on opponents and then standing on the sidelines instructing other coaches on what plays the other team is about to run.

Be better with your comparisons and examples.

That would be awesome, the B1G down to one relevant team, the always favored O$UCK Suckeyes (Pedo State never wins). Seriously, once the the next five yards of ratings collapse on FOX/NBC, B1G Network with Rutgers vs. Purdue, Maryland vs. Northwestern, Indiana vs. Wisconsin, coupled with the addition of the 10 PM games of a fading USC, never good UCLA and now bit players (less $$$ to compete) UDub and Oregon, the B1G is not gonna be worth the $$$.

This is my favorite scandal of all time. The fact that Harbaugh already has an NFL job lined up is hilarious. He don't give no ***** anout these investigations.
You know Davis in Las Vegas is taking advantage of this. He fired everyone already 8 games in to get a jump start.

Harbaugh, the slippery ************ that he is, has a parachute and landing spot and he will escape this and I hope Michigan gets buried.

I’ve always though Harbaugh was/is a weirdo. Not surprised by him cheating. He was on the hot seat for not getting his alma mater back to a championship level.

I hear you, but if the USAO in Columbus is competent, they'll try to flip Weiss in exchange for Harbaugh for a 371 conspiracy charge for 1343 wire fraud or one of the other illegal access charges.

I’m not comparing the two. It doesn’t matter what pay for play scheme you want to pick. The HC knows what is going. I’m not saying Shannon or Coker or whoever orchestrated the Shapiro situation. Obviously on field cheating is more egregious than paying for players.

The broader point is no HC is in the dark. Shannon telling players to avoid Shapiro proves that. Doesn’t mean he condoned anything or supported anything. But he knew. For all we know Harbaugh may disagree with this scheme, I doubt it. But to claim any coach is oblivious to malfeasance in their program is foolish. That was the point of the post. Not to compare wrongdoings and say it’s the same.

Eventually the outrage is going to get so loud from the rest of the Big Ten members that they won’t have any other choice but to drop the hammer. We all know what the holdup is…they’re looking at a team from their conference who’s currently ranked #1 in the nation and is more than likely headed to The Playoff. Between The Suckeyes and Michigan they’re almost assured that one team will represent the Big Ten and they don’t want to jeopardize that. What they aren’t taking into consideration is how much harm it will do to the entire Playoff. Can you imagine the scandal, negativity, and bad press associated with the Playoff if Michigan is in it? It will be off the friggin charts. Each game they’re involved in will have it’s legitimacy called into question, whoever the #5 team is will be screaming about how they should be there over Michigan, etc. I just think it’s going to be a bad, bad look for the entire Big Ten, and they aren’t looking at the bigger picture.

Confirming Stalions was also seen on the Maryland sideline earlier this season…

The only reason why yall are okay with this is because yall love Harbaugh...

If Deion was accused of doing the same thing yall would be in here ready to have him roped & hanged in public.
Ur probably right but we do have a lot of weirdos in here who have an affinity for Deion. Personally idgaf about him cause rado sucks but I was not a fan of him stealing cormani or that receiver from a few years ago

Harbaugh has stolen at least a dozen recruits from us & is currently trying to take our highest rated one now...

And people are STILL rooting for him
