Deion Sanders comes to Michigan football defense in sign stealing

There is clear evidence of Stalions going to games of Michigan opponents and sitting between the 45-yard lines in prime location to film their future opponents' signals. It's all over the media showing Stalions talking with Michigan's OC when they have the ball and the DC when the opponent has the ball and the respective coordinators making calls into their headsets. There are multiple photos of Stalions stranding right next to Harbaugh as well. So, what is the exact rule on this? I see some on X saying if he didn't go to games and video tape signals himself, no violation.

In the early 1990s, this was outlawed by the NCAA. Apparently, Michigan and Harbaugh got so desperate to beat OSU that they developed this elaborate cheating scheme. Explains why Harbaugh lost his first 7 games agai9nst OSU and finally beat them the last 2 years...cheating!
Supposedly there is proof he attended some games and others attended some games from tickets he purchased. Time will tellWell, if there is video of him at games, then nail them. I only read it was his family & friends at games.
Pretty sure teams had our signals last year too. I remember players saying the opposing teams knew what they were going to do.
Man, the Marine training must be something else. So Stallions was standing next to Jesse Minter during the Michigan games and was somehow at opponents games at the same time. Must be some special marine sauce at play. There is clear evidence of Stalions going to games of Michigan opponents and sitting between the 45-yard lines in prime location to film their future opponents' signals. No, he scouted some of the games ahead of time as well as other people scouting games he had purchased tickets for. I never said he was standing next to Minter at all the games, but it is clear he is standing next to the OC and DC during the Ohio State game and providing input to them. Corresponds with the fact Harbaugh couldn't beat OSU for 7 years in a row and then suddenly has figured out how to beat them by cheatingMan, the Marine training must be something else. Also Ohio State openly changed the signals for the Michigan game just like they did when they played Clemson years ago. In terms of competitive advantage the NCAA tried to eliminate the ban on in person scouting because they deemed it not to be a competitive advantage given all the available video of games out there.
Now they need to scan the audiences for someone in Deion's orbit.![]()

Those are the questions I’m asking, too.So what violation do they get charged with? What's the penalty?
I'm betting little to nothing.
Thus far there are 2 violations. One for in-person scouting and another for recording. There rules we put in place in the 90’s because not every team could afford in-person scouting, and every team had access to video recordings of games which typically do not include recordings of team signals. Those are the questions I’m asking, too.
What is the actual infraction here? Apparently lots of teams do the same thing and it’s up to each team to change up its signals throughout the season to offset the potential damage.
So what’s the deal?
could result in lack of institutional control, especially because at this point it's clear Michigan has lied about itSo what violation do they get charged with? What's the penalty?

As AtlAtty pointed out, there are rules against sending staff members to opposing teams' games and then the other for recording. Think of this like the Astros situation in baseball... all of the teams try to steal each others signs, but they took it to another level. Those are the questions I’m asking, too.

On top of their already ongoing investigation for recruiting during COVID and then getting caught lying about it (which actually ****es the NCAA off more).could result in lack of institutional control, especially because at this point it's clear Michigan has lied about it
that could result in vacated wins.
NCAA investigation can take years, big 10 could theoretically hold them out of the big 10 championship game this year
