UM (Michigan) in big trouble ?

Is it possible to think Crazy Jim is guilty as sin of being an incessant breaker of all but the most severe rules but also wonder how far you'd have to go down the SEC hierarchy before a school in that conference would receive similar heat?

I'm thinking you'd probably get to like Arkansas if they couldn't find a way to just pin it on Mizzou.

That said, I won't cry any tears for one of the wealthiest B1G schools that pretends to be a "blue blood" but makes our living in the past seems like we're stuck in about 6 months ago as they take pride in **** from 60 years ago.

Harbaugh is an ******* so I'm not mad at his potential downfall but why do they never investigate Bama or UGA? Are you telling me they are running "clean" programs? Absolutely not. Especially pre NIL era. Ryan Day also called out Clemson and UGA. Reggie Bush still deserves his Heisman back.

Satan must have Tuscaloosa on some type of "Under the Dome" type **** because there is no way.

Perhaps the media narrative of this guy being former military is overblown, but I’m shocked by how deliberate his spying was. Where were the disguises, the co conspirators, and the hidden cameras? Seems either rinky dink or arrogant. Or both.

So, what is the exact rule on this? I see some on X saying if he didn't go to games and video tape signals himself, no violation.

Exactly. I know Stalions is a product of Annapolis (even though he seemed intent on an immediate football career) but these stories don't exactly reek of a Navy or Marine Corps intelligence operation. Having your friends do the grunt work via tickets you bought in your own name and then incessantly using Venmo to send around money? Sounds more like Harbaugh meathead-ery inspired than anything to do with a military background.

Lol those are Michigan fans hoping desperately that they can skirt around any kind of discipline because their paid staff didn’t directly attend and film the games (although the people who did were given the tickets and specific instructions about what to record by a paid staffer).

No shot that defense works imo

Ncaa is like a wounded animal who keeps getting its butt kicked in court but you’ve got to imagine there is some logic the court can use to punish a team that blatantly was cheating

I've been around a program that wire tapped the opposing teams booth to win a game at home and at a neutral site game had a full-on spy set up in one of the suites to decode signals and had a wire tap. It was found by the venue and covered up. Trailed early and then got it figured out and absolutely dismantled them once they had their signs decoded.

Wouldn't be shocked at all if it has carried on with the new staff. They've also hired ex-military personnel to their staff for "tactical" advantages.

Multiple schools are turning over surveillance of paid UM staff members in the stadium including the Stalions guy.

I've also heard B1G officials have been educated that there's a clear path of evidence that ties it back to Harbaugh having knowledge of it and it'll result in termination. It might be drawn out but behind the scenes and it is very early in the investigation but it seems like it is inevitable.

It’s blatant cheating; it’s the same sh*t Belichick was doing for years until he got caught filming the Bengals Walk-through.
It wasn't the Bengals. It was some other team but not them.

The Bengals part was something else. The Spygate thing was essentially them filming in the wrong spot. In-stadium-recording is allowed, just not from that spot.

It's the same thing here, sign stealing is not illegal. Doing it in person is.
