UM hires former Miami Northwestern receiver Harris as GA

He better be very connected socially down here, or he's useless. These are the types of hires that need to be very strategic for recruiting.

I'm not so sure he chose Louisville over UM, but, if he did, then he's already behind the 8 ball with me.
I agree, he needs to be a top notch recruiter

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Graduate Assistants can't recruit anyway, right?

Uhhh, have people forgotten that Dugans is literally one of (if not) the best recruiter on the team?

Mike Harris is being hired as a GA, why are people acting like he has to land recruits or something or else it's a "bad" hire?

Oh wait I get it... It's mandatory to always be over critical of everything this staff does, including nitpick a GA hire smfh lol.

Not off campus but they can call recruits...

I remember him at MNW, he was a beast & helped us win a state title...

He ended up signing with LVille to play with Bridgewater & Eli Rogers, but he spent most of his college career injured.

And yeah, he was coached under Dugans, so that's where the recommendation comes in.

Congrats to him!

Liberty - MH is another good, young coaching hire to probably coach the slot receivers like Flaherty did as an offensive GA with Richt and Dugans. Last year he was at Illinois with coach Lovie Smith and Garrick Mcgee, his former OC at Louisville under Petrino, now with coach Smith. 2 fine staffs to begin your career with, don't you think.

Coach Lovie says - I select good men, good coaches and good recruiters - when asked about the quality of people he hires. He seemed to be a sharp, personable and mature guy while still an undergraduate player at Louisville and should blend well with the UM current staff. Also wishing MH the best.

I'm acting like he needs to be an asset in recruiting because that what he needs to be. He can't go out and recruit any more than Dean's cousin could, but you don't add people to the staff at these low level spots unless they bring something of value. The value he'd bring is connections to the neighborhood.

It's really impressive how above and beyond you go to show how stupid you are

If he can coach up the slots to be more productive he'll have earned his keep. Berrios, Thomas and Harley need to shine in the next few years.

GA's are here to learn and develop as potential coaches while also assisting the coaching staff and program in whatever capacity Coach Richt wants and is of course "ok" by the NCAA.... The Franchise plz shut the fck up, you've gone senile.

Dumbasses think coaches are out here adding GA's based soley on what they can do for the program??? slow mfkers lol smh
