UM 4* RB commit T. Homer done w/recruiting, Loves da U

Kid is a savage...elite agility and quick decision making. Runs a 4 flat shuttle and has a 40 inch plus vert, not to mention he was just named the best back at the opening. But no...not good enough for us...smh some of y'all are ridiculous.

This. Kid has offers from Bama, Auburn, UF, FSU among others and was the best back out of the best backs in the Nation? C'mon man its one thing to not like the coach but to ignore great talent that's plain stupid.

?you might want to read again, it was clearly sarcasm at the others on this post saying hes average

FOC was agreeing with you

Lol my bad I was the one who misunderstood your post. Ya but totally agree.

Not sure what the problem is? Travis is a stone cold stud 200 pounder with sub 4.5 speed; Homer offer sheet has all the big boys & College powerhouses WANTing & NEEDing him. Boy, I hate Golden gets a life extension after deserving nothing less than being canned after 2014, but I just can't see myself hating on everything about the U because of Golden.

I confess of being a hater when it comes to Golden, but comprehensive haters going from "he's a meh" to "he won't stick" are backing themselves in being just as much as haters of the U period. point. blank. than the next gaytor and semenhole hiding in this board under either some bland name or even some &^%*cane.

Bottom line This type of stud is "the building block", amongst other blocks in SWAG16, where Rome is built and the brew of Championships gets stewed... take off the Golden-hate binder and see this for what it is: an elite stud that loves the U and wants to return UM to its ole glory of Championships and virtual return to competing for Championships year after year, even as Golden is most unlikely to be the one that leads us to the return.... and since not Golden, should the next coach not have studs with which to build the Championship years to come?

Go Canes !

Homer's a stud, but anyone getting excited over this is forgetting that Scarlett was saying the exact same thing at this time last year. Said he wasn't going to take visits when he committed to Miami at The Opening because he was "all about The U." We all know what happened six months later.

Really hope the next coach gets to work with Homer and Fils-Aime because our backfield really, really needs their home run ability. We need to get back to having Miami speed at the skill positions in the worst way.

I dont remember scarlett saying he wasnt going to take visit but he was all U out, we shall see

He said it on ESPNU when he announced his commitment. They asked him directly if he'd take any visits and he said, "No, it's all about the U."

Just saying that Homer shutting down his recruitment in July doesn't mean anything. He's got plenty of time to open it back up and will have countless top-tier programs vying for his services.

Lmao of course he aint going to say it then

For the record, Scarlett did say at the Opening last year that he was probably not going to take any visits and he was done.. But the difference is that THomer doesnt have a QWilson type in his ear 24/7 trying to change his mind. (Enter Sam Bruce in the previous sentence. Quincy and Scarlett will be on him like white on rice trying to get him to flip)

But this kid is the goods. He has dominated every SPARQ/Opening camp he has been at starting with the one no one even cared about that was back in Feb at Alonzo Mourning HS in North Miami. That is when I first heard about him. He really didn't belong there because there weren't many high level athletes there, but he made a name for himself. FSU offered the next day after he put up a ridiculous SPARQ rating.

Now is he a workout warrior or a great RB? We will see and hopefully we will see with him wearing O&G.

Kentucky Coach DJ Elliot's Top Target Travis Homer Oxbridge Academy (West Palm Beach, FL

is that despite his false & early low 3* star ranking,
all the powerhouse college teams & big boys'
Coaches had ready known and already had offered Travis Homer
which means that Nick Saban, Jim Harbaugh, Jimbo Fisher, Florida McElwain's Kentucky's Stoops have all put in strong overtures to Travis Homer and his coach that they all want Homer's bruising style and Home running speed to play for them. His rising is only in the media, but coaches always knew Homer was not only a home run hitter ready to take it to the house on any given touch, but is a bruiser between the tackles not easy to bring down. While the media below is now catching up, as seen below, with Homer value, Homer had already getting love from all the top coaches, yet his love for the U STILL HAS HIM stuck on his commitment.

*Miami commit Travis Homer as a three-star on 247Sports but he's been upgraded to a 4-star with a 91 grade following The Opening. We liked Homer coming into the event so as long as he checked out, a four-star upgrade was likely. He's got outstanding speed and he logged a 40-inch vertical in the testing portion. What made those numbers even more impressive though is that they translated well to the field and to drills. With the ball in his hands he looked like one of the fastest backs at the event and was able to out-run angles and make big plays out of the backfield.

Looks average if you ask me. Where is he from?

This is why we hold onto so,e guys cuz da big dogs got bigger fish to fry, I think he's aight but I boy ain't no Scarlett cook and them other elite boys dat bring u dem titles and announce ya skoo on Monday night football.

It's horrible how far we have fallen, prove me wrong young homer.

Man you need to take your time and concentrate hard on writing coherent sentences... Here is a website that can teach you how to speak/write in English: Grammar. Study hard and then maybe try commenting again. I'd also suggest dictionary.com so you can check whether you are using actual words or not.

I have a feeling he'll be making some visits after our first few games in October.

He is only 16 putting up those numbers. He is gonna be downright scary for a defense to game plan against. When rasul committed i saw homer's highlight and thought he was the better back.

This just in...Al needs to really study Homer's Spring Highlights and watch the opposing teams vaunted 3/4 defense against Homer..Shades of Ga Tech against Dono's 3/4

My friends nephew plays on the same team with this kid. I think we should be good here. I'll keep tabs

Agree. Hope he plays better than I expect. I want Rasul over him.

Lol you'd have to talk to your boy Jimbo about offering Rasul first.

Baby steps. He just needs to realize that commas are NOT his friend and progress from there.
