Lane and Stoops were my top 2. Mario was my 3rd choice. I think we would be better this season with either Lane or Stoops as both of them would play to our strengths. I'm not giving up on Mario, but this has certainly been a disappointment thus far in the season.

I’ll believe again when I see it. Too many wasted years of buying into bull****. Show me. No more kool-aid ever again.

Lot of fans wanted him, Mike Ryan wanted him, the guys like Cowherd were talking about how Lane would bring Miami back. Rumor 1 is Lane background check had issues and so he was eliminated early by the AD. Rumor 2 is we really weren't gonna do a full coaching search and we got lucky to grab Mario because of his connections to the program but otherwise we were just gonna keep Manny.

Lane had no chance here. We had a section of the BOT basically stage a cue midseason paving the way for Mario and only Mario.

Not a Lane hater at all, I like both coaches. If I was choosing, I would prefer Stoops but can't go wrong with either

I liked Lane, Mario and Stoops. However, Stoops is going on his 10th year of building up the Kentucky program. He went 2-10, 5-7, 5-7 and 7-6 in his first four years including losing to Sunbelt, AAC and CUSA teams. LOL at expecting this fan base to be patient enough to let him do that here. We would’ve been firing him after 2 weeks.
