Les Miles would be such a home run. We'd be nuts not to back up the financial resources he would demand to his office right as they fire him.

I would have loved to have Les Miles before seeing this. Coaches considering retirement usually don't go to another team and win big.

I said from the very first day of the corching search that Herman would be a non-starter because of his buyout. That was before they raised the stakes on his contract too. I also said that I wouldn't mind Herman if we somehow got him.

Not sure what your point is. I also wouldn't mind Chip or Urban or Harbaugh. But reality is still reality.

Amen. Everyone should pay attention to that before they assume any of these SEC coaches, especially Miles, will "kill it" at Miami. Even old men can pcik up hot young chicks $$$$$$
