Uh Oh Manny Lying About King? (rampant speculation following King's "Opted?" Tweet)

A very smart person once said to me that the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference. I just realized that I made plans for Saturday, without consciously thinking about the game being on. In days past, that would never have happened. This is what accepting/endorsing mediocrity brings. People like me who ordinarily would make sure they don't miss a game just not caring.

If I’m by a tv I’ll pop in and out but I’ll likely be watching good football being played. As plies said “ why do i waste 3-4 hours of my time watching something that isn’t entertaining and ****es me off”? The days of me watching bad football ran by people don’t care is over. My time is more valuable.
 
Kanell and Dvorachek were talking about the tweet from King this morning. Both said it's a really bad look for Diaz to say opted to have surgery when the kid sacrificed so much for the program. More national attention the better, this clown show is being aired everywhere.

This fanbase is toxic as ****, but what fanbase wouldn’t be ? Having to watch the bot / administration constantly kicking dirt on the program? So spare me on blaming the fans,

I've grown up watching the program as a fan and then attended as a student. I've seen it on both sides. this fanbase isn't good and has nothing to do where the stadium is. the basketball program could never get people to go to games and that arena is built right on campus. the point is this fanbase is toxic but it also doesn't put up to the level needed. TOC went into the hurricane club giving numbers and compared to the programs where we want to be at. its not even close. it all makes a diff esp when you have BOT dudes telling reporters we can't afford x and y and that has been their built in excuse forever now when they make crap hire after crap hire.

Correct. It’s a bottom line $ business for most (unless the wifey intervenes).

Just like if we spent good money on players, the 5*s would magically be interested despite the head coach.
 
Enough with this *****. The nation is correct. Canes fans suck. Potatoes, Potatos. Dude is hurt, he is out and TVD is in. Support the **** team and stop rooting for a collapse. I will settle for 5 and 5 and backing into the ACCCG. Go CANES!!!

This is the kind of stuff where if everything was hunky dory, nobody would be sweating a wording. It’s a big deal because everybody is ****ed about everything, and they should be. He’s clearly lost the team

I haven’t even checked what time the game is at and I won’t till Saturday and maybe watch it if my plans fall through. I have no interest in in eating my time and energy into what will be another slaughtering at the hands of Mack Brown.

Whenever I get the alert that Manny is fired I’ll tune in.

relatively weird and personal OT, but thats what happened with several former friendships I had. i used to get ****ed for some reason about them and at some point i stopped caring and contacting.

the same applies here. last season, after unc, i was so ******* mad. same after ok st. just really ****ed. that stopped after the first half against bama, i stopped giving a ****. when we lost to michigan state and virginia, i didnt really even get that mad. i am numb to this by now and dont expect anything.

i will start to watch it, but my thumb has a heat seeker on the off button on my laptop once things go **** down.

I usually record each one individually. I'll still do that as long as I remember to.
