Uh Oh Manny Lying About King? (rampant speculation following King's "Opted?" Tweet)

Yeah, lets not be the fan base that causes coaches to stay away because "they do anything to get them fired, but won't even show up for games"
Coaches talk, they know that this fanbase is borderline useless. That said, that doesn't excuse Miami for hiring Diaz in the first place.

The tweet was at Manny Navarro not Manny Diaz. Yes MD sucks as a coach, but this ain’t it, guys.

No need to create a false narrative to fire him. That’s some seriously low class low mentality bullshilt. His performance speaks for itself and nothing else needs to be stirred up to have a rationale for firing him, especially something that isn’t true.

this fanbase Is trash. look Manny is gonna get fired and he sucks as an HC. we don't need to create fake bull****. no coach wants to come here for a fanbase this trash

Hey man whatever lol
It must be me. I am just not getting the story here. Are you saying that King went back out on that field because Manny made him feel like he had to? That Lashlee was prepared to put TVD on the field instead? So technically no one 'forced him" to play yet subtly you're saying they made him feel like he had to?

Not trying to be argumentative - just confused with all the innuendo. I thought I got it last week but somehow, it seems muddy again.

I’m not trying to make it muddy. Simple and plain the OC & QB coach had his backup warming up. He was going with TVD. The head coach gets the last word and king attested he could go

ok. so that's what I got originally. I guess what's being implied is Manny should have said no. Got it.

Hush, little CIS, it will soon be over.

Oh that’s what it is ? It’s the fans? Not the horrible administration / ad, Bot that doesn’t care or ever wants to spend money ? It’s us horrible fans that stick around watching **** near two decades of a horrible product? All those coaches “stayed away” because Blake went down the hall and hired manny. I guess that’s our fault too.

Both can be true.

Both can be true.
Actually no. Coaches know what they’re signing up for when they take a gig at a big boy school,on the list of our problems fans ranks 100000001 of the issue. Miami finally upgrades their facilities because we were repeatedly destroyed on national tv about them. Miami hires horrible coaches on the regular because they’re cheap and inept. Blaming fans for our issues is one of the stupidest things I’ve read on this board. I can’t even believe it was typed out.

Vol fans about rioted over a decent head coach hiring , a hiring that would rank at the top of our last five horrible hires. If our fanbase was like you “ super fans “ our administration would be loving life. You have excuse making yes men who hate accountability and love mediocrity. They’ll just keep defending anything pro coach / administration.

Coaches give zero ***** about message boards and fans. None.

The tweet, eh thats not the issue. Could have been worded better but thats Manny Navarro anyway.

The issue is as a coach you have an obligation to do whats in the best interest of your players. Most of them will say they can play, think they can play and try to get back out there like a good soldier. Its your job to look out for them and do whats right. Not whats best for yourself.

No, King wasnt "forced" to get back on the field and I dont think anyone is claiming that. But if there was concern over the severity of the injury or it more long term damage could be caused the morally correct thing to do would be to pull him for further evaluation. Play it conservative as someones health is in your hands.

Im more disappointed and sad about the whole thing than anything else. Being a bad coach is one thing, not looking out for your guys is something different.
