That starts to change with the 2023 classBoth of these teams make us look tiny.
My girl who doesn’t know sht about football always asks me why Miami is so small

Gonna be a weird scenario, assuming Tennessee loses this game and wins out do they make the playoffs?
Doubt UGA loses a game, unless the $EC title game. Which I still doubt.I'm sure if Bama, Georgia, and Tennessee all end with one loss, the media will put pressure on the committee will push for all three to get in.
I see a giant disparity up front. This is why true spread teams don’t win. They can’t beat teams like this upfront.Lucky for UT they score fast so they’re always in the game. I just don’t believe In their D. It’s been SUS all year.
Surprised me too. But I haven’t watched either team except mostly highlights.Interesting. I would not have thought that. I've watched Tennessee a few times this year. They were chucking it around those games and rarely ran the ball. When they did run, they were usually successful with their running plays. The fact they run more than UGA is surprising to me.
To be fair Nobody beats teams like this upfront.I see a giant disparity up front. This is why true spread teams don’t win. They can’t beat teams like this upfront.
But if you’re as physical as them you have a better chance. Spread teams would never match their physicality. To be fair Nobody beats teams like this upfront.
I don’t think this is as much physicality as it is playing in an enormous game in a tough environment , versus a great team for the first time with a bullseye on your back. They lit up Bama through the air and bashed them in the mouth too. Uga is lighting them up offensively is the biggest problem. But if you’re as physical as them you have a better chance. Physicality = energy usage and depletion.
I love how Tennessee is 8-0 with:I see a giant disparity up front. This is why true spread teams don’t win. They can’t beat teams like this upfront.
Somebody should’ve told the committee that.Just to be clear Georgia should be winning fairly easily. They have way more talent than Tennessee.
The disparity is from recruiting. Has nothing to do with the offense.I see a giant disparity up front. This is why true spread teams don’t win. They can’t beat teams like this upfront.
You know what I really love about this post? You tried to insult with that “message board geniuses” but you weren’t smart enough to figure I was talking about being able to beat teams like Georgia Like everybody else.I love how Tennessee is 8-0 with:
- 34pts on Pitt
- 38pts on Florida
- 40pts on LSU
- 52pts on Bama
- 44pts on Kentucky
...but one slow half on the road against the defending champs and literal best team in CFB and suddenly they "don't win."
Some serious message board geniuses here on CIS.
There’s 3 5* guys on that UT line and they’re getting mauled and all 3 are NFL guys. The disparity is from recruiting. Has nothing to do with the offense.
I agree. Sometimes it’s a physical and mental hurdle to get over. Even when Georgia could match Alabama physically, Georgia still had to get over the mental hurdle before they beat them.I don’t think this is as much physicality as it is playing in an enormous game in a tough environment , versus a great team for the first time with a bullseye on your back.
