UGA vs Tennessee

I’ll take UGA over Bama.

This UGA team is better than last season, and Bama isn’t as good as last season.

And the Saban vs former assistants story isn’t a thing anymore.

Joes> X&Os

Except UGA has good X"s and O's. Combine the two this is what you get. I know I'd take UGA's staff over Tenn. You want both, but good coaching can make up a lot of ground on just a team that's talented. See A&M for no better example.

I've gotta say, it's impressive what UGA has done to two **** good offenses in Tenn and Oregon. Beastly defense as is their norm in recent years.

If the option is to build a team that looks like UGA or Tenn I definitely wouldn't pick Tenn. Idc how fun the offense is their is more bust potential.

Lmfao OSU, Clemson, UGA, Bama, UK, USC, Syracuse, and a plethora of other top 25 teams right now run a power spread attack.

Its not my fault you don’t have enough brain cells to figure out that the playcaller sucks. Not the scheme.
Thats the thing, we get too wrapped up in labels too much. All of the teams u named have different offenses but u labeled them power spread.

But in general i agree a good coach will tweak his system to fit the team while maintaining his core principles

Bama was mid last year too, and now they dont have the WRs. But their secondary is better if ricks is starting, and will anderson and dallas turner can win u a game

Tenn has been in the dumps. What you've seen from them is an increase in talent with a bunch of mature vets and some good coaching. Right now though, they're up against an elite talent team with superior coaching. Tenn will get a boost this year and keep building.

Reminds me of that Clemson team that was supposed to challenge FSU one year and there was all the hype with GameDay at their place and FSU came in ending the game effectively in the first quarter. They weren't there yet, but it was a start and Clemson went off. Maybe Tenn follows suit.

I can only assume you’re talking about gattis…

No they don’t. They’re all run the ball rather with the QB or trio of RBs 25 + times a game. All of them are a version of a power spread offense that focuses on TOP and being physical.

How each Individual offense does it might be different but the ideology is the same.

I‘ll still take UGA, albeit a close game. Never said UGA routs Bama.

Yes really, did you not understand the comment. I didn't say they ran ground and pound.
You said they won by lining up and getting “3 yds in a cloud of dust”, which is what you replied to. can you somehow get 3 yds in a cloud of dust by passing the ball?

You just agreed with me lol

Its not about how -much- they run or pass it’s about how they do it. Power spread is just a lazy label imo all are different schematically
