Your comments seem exaggerated. It's not that dramatic or bad. There are holes. Our zone pass D needs an infusion of talent and an overhaul in matchups. There are rigidity issue w/ the 3rd LB. Yet, we tried different things and got beat regardless.

how?. Alot of the same feelings i had with No Frio's defense i have currently. The only difference i see..i fully expect this staff to recruit better than the last. Any qb with or with a smidge of passing talent did what they want with this d. UVA QB,a true freshman at Pitt, Toledo, UNC's bum., Wisky's BUM the other day.

Diaz adjust better coming out the half..but there is alot of BAD, BAD stuff.

Unc qb completed 41% of his passes for 173 yards, 1td, and 3 picks.

Exactly. That is emotional and without any basis in statistics or field evidence. The only difference you see is potentially better recruiting? Come on now. You know football better than most. Totally different philosophies. Totally different willingness to try multiple things (even within the same game). Diaz has to clean up his 3rd down pass D and playcalling. Specifically, his zones. His fire zones are stale now. But, when he went man coverage - something D'Ono rarely was willing to do - we got spun. When did we have a Top 10 defense in yards per play under D'Ono? You're my guy, but I don't follow you on this one at all. At base, we'll die swinging. Sometimes overswinging. If that brings to mind D'ono, we watched different defenses.

I wouldn't say our defense is as bad as the defenses D'Onofrio has rolled out. Not even close.

But I do agree that Manny gets cute with his zone calls and making average QBs look like Heisman contenders at times is nauseating.
 
The same way um didnt recruit divaad wilson..they let Deandre Baker go to UGA. kID WAS GOOD IN HIGH SCHOOL..WE DIDNT EVEN SNIFF HIM

Baker knew it was offsides but why take THAT free shot. Play calling very questionable in OT

Why didnt they see Wilson? wasnt it because someone didnt get along with him is there truth to that?
