Well, not gonna defend Ga HWP, bc I’ve been on both side of them, having lived in Ga for 26 yrs. However, I did have an encounter many years back. My wife’s great mother was being movers out of her house in Bhamington. We inherited a 76 Caddy and drove it back to ATL. Well just before the ga/ala border I opened it up to clean the carburetor out,.. while drinking a beer. Shortly after crossing into Ga, we encountered a trooper. He pulled me over and asked that I come and sit in cruiser. So, explaining as best I could while breathing IN not out, I recanted the inheritance story and said I was trying to clean out the carburetor. Unbelievably he bought it and let me go with a warning,.. not realizing the mirror full of lines under the passenger seat. Just goes to show you, never underestimate the judgement and poor olfactory ability of a Ga Trooper. But for the grace of Yahweh go I.

I agree with you that Georgia state troopers are jabronies, but reckless driving is going over 100 MPH in most states, and almost always an automatic arrest.
