Dude, thanks for bringing us that well vetted 625 follower post from a supposed college football reporter Dallas Insider with deep links into the southeastern conference in Gainesville

I have at least $50 million worth of reasons why that wouldn’t happen in terms of the just the gap in the media deals in the next five years beyond it being ludicrous

If the ACC is going to be relevant, then something like this has to happen. The most logical one would seem to be ND, but they are slowly stubborning themselves into irrelevancy even with their precious MOU with the CFP.

Clearly, as stated in OP, this is nonsense lol.

But dont be surprised to see ACC expansion with some unexpected teams from unexpected conferences.

Flugaur said on his YouTube show yesterday that UNC will announce its departure from the ACC no later than June 1, 2027.

Be much better politically for the Heels not to be the first school out the door.

I wouldn't be shocked if some or all among FSU, Clemson and Miami got the ball rolling and gave its exit notice by June 1 of this year in time to move to a new conference for Fall 2027.

Once the door cracks open, the prisoners ain't gonna wait around to mull their options. See the collapse of the Pac-12.

The ACC as we know it has one or more two more years remaining beyond the current one.

UF is digruntled with the SEC ... about what?

Did Sankey tell them to hire one lousy football coach after another?

What he fully said in the part you left out needs to be statedwas they would either announce their departure by that date or a reimagined ACC with potentially two different divisions of the have and have Nots on the football side

IIRC USCe used to be in ACC a long time ago.

From Google:

From 1953 through 1970, the Gamecocks played in the Atlantic Coast Conference, finishing No. 14 in the 1958 final AP poll and winning the 1969 ACC Championship.

Regardless of whether or not this is trolling, it is one of the drawbacks to a super conference with the current structure, especially the SEC. There's a dozen teams that feel they should be in the playoff every year in that conference and it's not going to happen. With the SEC performing poorly in the playoffs they may even have less of a chance in the coming years.

If the SEC goes on to add even more major programs...
