White knights always making excuses up. All week talking about blowing them out but now, we must play safe cause UF offense can be dangerous. Don't want to gamble, ***** ****

It's not their offense that's dangerous. It's giving them free field position with a stupid turnover while trying to "put our foot on their throat".

It should be 21-0 but I anticipated that their defense is up to par
Their defense isnt doing anything special. Good coverage but theyre not going off. This is more about miami than anything.

Again you got inside the 5 and went full muh inside zone run.

Miami needs to use more misdirection everytime we have it's been a big gain.

The offense just falls into their tendencies way too often.

If you can pop a run there, great, if not, head into half. UF has basically adopted the same strategy FSU did against us last year: Make Miami grind it out, which will hold down the score, and speed up the game. It's a "We know we don't really stand a chance, but we aren't going to give you a chance to blow us out" concept.

That said, Brockermeyer is having an issue I've never seen before. Are we sure UF isn't doing something like simulating the snap? I've never seen a experienced center have this many snap infractions in one game, much less one half. The mental mistakes are the issue here. Miami needs to understand that if you merely execute, do your job, the score will take care of itself. Far too many mental mistakes, these aren't effort penalties for the most part.
Mario said the dline is doing some things but he has to do better with that.

Beck had the middle open for a run on that third down.

Most teams use a clap nowadays. The defense can easily simulate the snap and the refs not hear it. It's ****ed with us the last two games

**** mario's ***** *** should be 20-0 at minimum 16-0 he played here he should know shouldn't respec UF FSU or ND and he refuses to call plays to score when we can put them out of it.
Do us a favor, sit down. There are multiple factors at play here tonight, some of which limit how ugly this game will ultimately get. You have weather, UF playing a bend but don't break defense, which limits explosives and honestly, makes it difficult to break the game open. Napier knows his team is shorthanded and ultimately screwed, so he decided to go with the old Mike Norvell "I'm not going to do anything that can get me blown out" strategy.

The big thing tonight are the mental errors. Brockermeyer is responsible for 3-4 mental mistakes by himself, that's tough. Miami can and should be able to pull away in the second half, especially if the weather cooperates and it stops raining. A couple of drops and weird plays have happened because of the wet football, and I'm quite sure that's why Dawson isn't calling certain concepts. Don't give Florida, a team that can't score on **** near anyone an opportunity to crawl back into the game on a short field, or on a fluke play.

As bad as their numbers are, they are still in the game
they have a good defense, not sure why people thought we'd drop 50 points on them. we probably should have 17 right now and their defense will wear down. we'll finish with 30 points or so
