The articles all cite him dealing with "personal issues" but not much more. What's the "he's not very good" based on? Most DTs don't get much playing time as freshmen and take a while to develop, so it's still pretty early in his development. Were there performance problems while at UF or was he just down in the depth chart due to age and lack of development?
I'd take him, armbrister ended up providing good play....we need more talent on the dline...don't see us pulling big timers from the high school ranks could be like getting a solid juco recruit.
