UF DT Jay-Nard Bostick released

I don't know how so many people have made such definitive decisions on whether we should take him without knowing what his problems were and whether they are solved.

Because the ******* ******** that run this program can't find a decent DT on their own...so it would be asinine NOT to consider a potential transfer that has more upside than half the pieces of 3 star crap we've compiled on the roster.

Unless he killed or raped someone....bring him down. The next coach will know what to do with him.

As "desperate" as we are for this staff to get decent DT's, after reviewing all the previous pros and cons for Jaynard, I say pass. Reasons being:

1. No team especially an SEC team would let a capable DT leave freely and without restrictions. WARNING SIGN!
2. As bad as we need DT's, I wouldn't count on this staff to develop or motivate a player with some punk *** emotional problems. MAN UP!
3. If he gave up and abandoned the team, then why would you think this pathetic DC would excite the kid to realize his potential! GET REAL!
4. Lastly, some kids just discover they aren't willing to put in the work it requires to play at this level and are too embarrassed to say so because they always been the big tough guy, but is really not mentally into the sport. IE, EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS!

But can he play patty cake? Aha!

Its pretty obvious the swamp was stanking too much for his liking. 1 year was enough

kid never saw the field 1 time even last yr when they could of used him

that tells me all i need to know in that he'd prolly be useless here too

Gator friend told me has got some personal issues going on. Hopefully it works out for him

If true, that sucks because given the fragile state of Miami's locker room currently I don't Golden would take a risk on kid with issues right now. Good thing there is a family to the Canes ( via Thurston Armbrister) where Miami can get the absolute true story behind the scenes regarding Bostwick.

Go Canes

bryant young and trob sold him more then anything

uf's had 3 first round picks on the DL the last 3 yrs i dont think he picked a bad place to go if he's lookin to get paid

if he was halfway decent he'd probably be in the 2 deep this yr instead of looking to transfer

This fan base is so desperate for some production from the DT spot, they'd take a dead elephant with an electrode up its ***, if it moved its legs.

Somebody say Michael Wyche?

I joke. Kid is going to have a monster year. We back.

Pretty impressive that he got 3 tackles last year without ever seeing the field. Did he play blindfolded, or are you just making stuff up?

So do a lot of kids that age, bring him in, let him redshirt and see if it works. No risk on our part but the reward could be huge.
