Justus Boone. He’s solid, not spectacular so those guys gassin him, are doing THEE most. Potentially a 3-5 sack guy but, and no offense to him cause he’s a dawg who plays hard, he’s NOT going to make or break our pass rush. If he does, and is elite, i’ll eat my words.

A straight to DVD version of Mesidor

The loss of Chris McClellan to Missouri in the portal is now even more glaring with Lyons going down

@flagator86 Am I right that the Gator OL so far isn't looking better than last year's version? Or am I being a Cane homer?

Left side is solid with

Barber
Harris
Slaughter

Right side is a mess. George at RG and the situation at RT is a mess. Even with Harris at LG, he played a bit last year but he’s an unknown still. I do expect Bain to maie his presence known no matter where he’s at tho. He’s a **** menace

Double the number of OL coaches to produce half of an O-Line. Sounds about right.

Regardless, they have problems and lots of people are talking about it. For example, their Locked On Gators guy spent the first 9:45 seconds of his scrimmage review today apologizing for how bad the OL looked:

There really is a serious meth problem in Hog town if their brains allow them to think anyone of their backs would get the nod over Damien Martinez.

Their media behind the scenes, before the scrimmage, were saying they have several issue's, not just the OL. I have gotten to the point, I just can't fight this is going to be a big Miami win, anymore. Even in the Swamp. Our talent on this team is at the point where it should be good enough to overcome some bad in game day decisions by our staff. Talent will do that. Take care of the ball. Wait until all the recruits in the stadium and watching, take this in. One game at a time.

More reps, more drills, more coaching. Every minute spent doing punishment running is a minute without reps or drills. It is a waste of practice time. You want them more disciplined? Coach them better and get their buyin.
