Greer has some interesting things to say about the alleged UFO cover up that involves high level government/military involvement with advanced tech reversed engineered from obtained craft. He also has had personal experiences with what he thinks are hyper-dimensional beings and has an established protocol he teaches to others how to summon these beings into our reality (not that I advocate for this!). Above doc gets into all of that with some videos and pictures of these encounters (creepy).

He says there is a lot of sightings that are really military operations involving this tech (e.g. tic tac objects) mixed with some legit sightings of the real things.

Big week next week! We'll see if it amounts to anything. I anticipate a lot of interesting testimonies (a lot of it repeated), congressmen fake outraging and hand wringing and complaining, but besides that? Probably won't amount to much, sadly. This is THE news story of human history and it's basically getting a peep in MSM. Crazy.

Funny.

Potential Independence Day scenario = Not scary

We are the only planet containing life = Scary

How does that work?
He didn't say "not scary"...just said the "scariest"...

Its not a hot take by Elon. Very common response to the Fermi's Paradox.

Interesting about these programs being buried within the DOE rather than DOD. Who knew the DOE has a black ops program!

Isn't Mellon basically the most senior guy talking about this stuff?

Should be an interestng week, for sure. Get your popcorn.,

That doesn’t answer my question, though.

Why is that possibility considered “scary” at all?

for the same reason solitary confinement is scary. or...being the most important being in existence is a lot of pressure scary. It depends on how you look at Fermi's Paradox, but the idea that we are "alone" left to our own devices, in this thought exercise, is scary. Scarier than an impending war between humans and aliens...because Fermi's Paradox already answers that question...they are either too far away for contact to ever happen, we'll be the first - so they don't exist yet, aliens are simply observing us - zoo theory, or they are hiding for some reason (one that wouldn't lead to them showing up like its clobbering time either)...or...well...we're alone.

From an atheistic perspective, it may be considered “scary” to feel like we’re “alone” in the universe. But for those of us who don’t share that perspective there’s absolutely nothing scary about it at all.

Musk seems agnostic and intuitively understands humanity is likely doomed without a savior. For some people ET is their hope of advancing our species with new knowledge and technology to solve all our problems.
