The worst scenario is Mullins doesn't get in and Bruce flips somewhere else! That would be the most epic meltdown ever on this board.

Olsen was so bad in that game it wasn't funny

Both those teams were **** and no one had time to throw the ball like every other **** year this game is played. But he had no TOs and didn't get put on a top 10 sportscenter play by Matt Thomas. Hack and Morris turned the ball over. He outplayed them.

You said he balled out not that he out played Morris and Hack.

It's different in South Florida. Mullins was on his couch this year and he's making Odell Beckham catches.

I really disagree with this sentiment and I'm a South Florida native, born and raised. I agree that South Florida is the most talented region in the country, no denying that, but our top players are not any better than the other top players around the country (you seem to be implying that South Florida, the region, creates players that are otherworldly). Being born a few hundred miles south or east of some other top prospects doesn't make them superhuman, Mullins would ball whether he was born down here or not, that's just science. Our advantage, simply put, is that many of these athletically gifted prospects are born down here, numerically speaking.

Please explain the last sentence, scientifically.

Well, I can tell you living in the north. Lots of kids peak out around here because they quickly become better than everyone else. I think the difference is that those kids are always being pushed by other talented kids. That is what makes it different. Iron sharpens iron.

Hate to be bearer of bad news but I hear there is almost no chance Mullins qualifies.

Trayone Gray

FOH

Gray at least managed to stay eligible to play for his HS team. I don't think there is any precedent at UM for a player being academically ineligible his entire senior season and then enrolling with no issue. I don't know anything about the situation, but common sense says that he is unlikely to qualify. Hope I am wrong as he looks like a beast

This is the answer. South Florida players don't always have a physiological advantage. They have a psychological advantage. They are more prepared for high-level competition.
