Told ya'll, when a kid visits as much as he did and still doesn't commit, that's a problem. Wasn't feeling him from the jump. He had Jobe written all over him, just w/o being committed.
Said it earlier, but he was a UF commit. That stench rarely goes away.

Stefan already said things weren't going our way for a long time now... We can hope against hope but it seems like we know which way this is going.

Wiltfong started a thread about his CB for Stevenson on the UGA board. According to their acknowledged "insider" Stevenson committed to them a month ago. So did Cine. Probably at the Reveal event. They are going after Kaiir Elam now and seem to be in a good position with him.

Interesting to see who is going to be the odd man out when everybody goes to UGA.

Gents, you saw in that anonymous coaches poll that it's not just Miami fans that know the SEC is handing out bags of cash. Yes, it's real. No there isn't much we can do about it. You can be **** sure the #5 player in country is getting a Brinks truck to his house. We get elite players despite that because those kids want to be Canes. That's why the sign says, "It's a Cane thing, you wouldn't understand." If this kid is the kind who wants money, nothing Richt says will change his mind. We can't pay but we can offer education, a huge brand, a big stage, and a pipeline to the NFL. I get more upset if we lose a 4 star local kid we want because the big schools usually save the big bags for the elite 5 stars. We shouldn't lose many 4 star battles. Our game though is recognizing the local kids who have raw talent, which is why it's good that Richt starts scouting them in junior high (like Rousseau). We'll still find the ballers in the 305.

clemson is doing it too. Dwayne allen once said it in an interview when he was there.
look everyone does it, just miami and usc got watched over

Both Ladson and Tyrique committed early to the Gators, everyone was saying what a great early recruiting job the Gators had done. When they both de-committed they immediately started to show up on our campus and even attended a few of our games. I expected an early commitment from both. Yet here we are. We will be fine there is enough talent in South Florida for us to be elite........but the very top talent in our backyard has got to be protected.

One of the UGA posters has been having a conversation with some Canes on our 247 site on Stevenson. His words;

They’re selling Stevenson on being like Minkah Fitzpatrick. Kirby coached DB’s and so has Mel. Saban was a part of it but that doesn’t mean Kirby and Mel can’t use it to recruit.
