It was mentioned on another chat...but curious if anyone knows or can give insight..but why this kid over KJ Green? Seems like we literally erased Green off of our big board after he seemed like he was really interested. Any insight is appreciated.

I'm not sure it's over kj green but given that he's committed to LSU id say they're in different stratospheres nil wise.....I'm not sure if any issues came up or if kj was just playing the game because we went from leader to not mentioned, maybe we pursued jacobs over him

we landed bryant im guessing its an nil issue...we swapped with lsu ause they bagged him right as we were surging for bryant

the staff thinks Bryant is the best edge. They have Dawson in the mix. It’s smart allocating of resources.
As much as I'm intrigued by Howard…I highly doubt this is an eitehr/or

Because it’s not lol Miami recruited Green who wanted LSU. He wasent left out we would have taken both. I know you know this but above someone made it sound like we are taking a late riser over Green which isn’t factual
That was me. And all I said was that we had a full court press on Green..then we didnt. We backed off way before he committed to LSU. Go look at the Green thread. He picked LSU after we flipped Bryant. And if what you are saying is accurate...based on Green's Sr film...why arent we still pursuing him like we are other committed players like Jacobs, Matthews, etc? Unless we are doing it low key which could be accurate as well.

Yeah once we secured Bryant we moved forward. But I think it was the price that made us move forward

After netting offers from multiple Power Four programs in the last few weeks, Howard is ready to take the next step in his recruitment, taking visits to some of those schools.
Howard tells 247Sports that he has four visits lined up. He returns to Miami for another unofficial visit this upcoming weekend for the Florida State game before making it to UCF the following weekend on Oct 24. The Knights have yet to offer. Two official visits are on the books in November, first to Georgia State on Nov. 14 and then to Missouri on Nov 21.
Miami and Missouri are the two Power Four programs who offered Howard this season, joining Georgia State, who offered him first in early September. He took an unofficial visit for Miami's game against Central Michigan a few weeks ago, which is when the Hurricanes extended the scholarship bid.
The Hurricanes are in a great spot for the Gulfport (Fla.) Boca Ciega standout, but he is keeping his options open. "I ain't promising anything, because there's something that's going on with Miami," Howard recently told 247Sports. "I still got a lot to experience. I mess with Miami, ain't going to lie. I feel with their heart, I feel their coaches and all that. Just I might go somewhere else and be like, 'Shoot, this fits me.'"

Exactly two dudes I was thinking of, I don't know if we recruited Streets I know we were on Forstall early. Would be nice.
There was 1-2 others I saw from teams on a slide/possible coach hot seat.

thought we would stay on streets considering we have to go to raleigh to recruit our guy randle and apparently we are still on cypher out of raleigh as well as a possible flip so might as well tried with streets while your there

dmoney mentioned cypher this week as a guy they still interested in...hes Streets teammate...streets is a **** beast to me..
