Is a bust. I don't want to hear any arguments. Mods lock this thread.

he gave up the sole sack on kaaya. that was on third down, so the OL came off of the field and sat on the bench, which is right in front of my seats. Coach searles was ****ed, he was yelling at st louis and others like a energumen. he threw his hat/visor at them and went on for a few minutes. they were all checking their shoelaces to make sure they were tied.

one of the many differences that i observed from this team!

He'll get Kaaya killed against a good team if he has to play. He stood there like a pylon and got whipped by a cripple from FAMU. A guy like Walker would turn him into a dust bunny.

I'm not down with the bust talk at all yet (as I'm willing to give Searels more time to work with him) butttttt that sack he gave up could've been a lot more vicious if that had been a legit player running unimpeded to Kaaya. Thank God he only caught Kaaya at an angle and basically spun him to the ground.

I happened to be watching the sideline when that play happened and searles spiked his hat spurrier style as soon as kaaya went down. he went nuts. not surprised to hear he lit into them on the sideline

He's not as quick-footed as I thought he'd be out of high school.

He'll get better but I wonder if his future is at guard. In the interim, we need Darling and Odogwu to stay healthy.

He and McDermott both being disappointing at tackle is a pretty big blow to the roster makeup. Guards are a dime a dozen.

Don't think he's got enough of a punch to play Guard at the highest level. At this point, and it's one of the reasons I always ask you about him, he's either going to become a RT or not. The other reason I ask you is because, as we've been discussing for a couple years now, I feel terribly for Darling. Guy is playing out of position. I guess it'll help him to be able to show the pros versatility, but he's also not showing his best being put out there as a Tackle. He could be an AA Guard.
