An NFL-caliber QB drops from the sky to save Manny's job.

It's weird, really. I hated, HATED the Enos hire. Yet here we are, watching the best UM QB we've seen in decades, thanks to Dan Enos.
The Holy Patron Saint Enox giveth & Saint Enox taketh away...

His patented 24 step drop off play action pass with no backside Tackle protection will forever have a special place in my heart.

TVD is good (freakin' great in relation to his actual game experience so far) but the ACC is **** bad. I definitely have massive optimism about our QB room as a whole but I'm personally gonna refrain from using "great" until one of our QBs balls out against a legitimately relatively highly ranked team (Pitt & NC State were both semi-frauds imo).

He was always a good QB coach. His offense supposedly only works with a good/great O line.

I was wrong about him. I thought he looked like a deer in the headlights against UVA but boy has he turned it around.

He’s the leader this team needs and he’s a ******* gunslinger.

Hope Garcia doesn’t transfer and will carry the torch after TVD leads us to the promised land and goes in round 1 after next year.

People keep on crediting Enos about TVD and he deserves it. What I think actually happened though is Enos recruited a stereotypical Big Ten style QB that thankfully was good enough to play in any conference. But I absolutely could see a TVD type high school kid going to a Mich State type school or even balling out in the MAC.

I just had a thought watching the NC State/FSU game. This is the first time in years I have watched other games and said to myself, "Our QB is so much better than these guys." Year after year I have watched other teams, even smaller programs, trot out QBs and watch them do things ours could not do. It was a crappy feeling going from QB U to seeing North Dakota State have better QBs. It's **** nice to have a QB again.

It’s weird right! The OL to me has been the most disappointing unit over the past 20 years. QB is 2nd on my list. Now watch NC State tackle and you will get back to feeling a little jealous of another team.

A guy that hadn't played much looked off, especially with an OC that refused to give him some calls to give him some confidence. Amazing what happened once he was allowed to do his job, instead of having the OC handcuff him. A good OC would have known what he had with TVD way before Lashlee did.
