As for Carolina, that was much later in the game. And that was the time to call a fade pass into the end zone. In the Virginia game their defense was gassed, and Diaz helped them out with line plunges, where all their players were. Even the TVD kneel down to the center of the field increased the chances of a missed FG.
 
Those intermediate and deep shot throws are just absolutely beautiful. The zip on them is almost Josh Allen-esque, scary thing is he's what...20, maaaybe almost 21?
 
He has a high football IQ, he's confident in his skill set and he has a killer instinct. That is a recipe for success at his position.

Smart move to do this from a character perspective. He may feel differently however, not supporting the current coach publicly is not a good look and potential red flags if he wants to get drafted to the league.
 
He looks his best when he's moving those feet. With an actual backup and more experience, look forward to him moving around the pocket better and even pulling the ball down and gaining some chunk yards himself (as he did a few times when absolutely needed).

That’s what I took away, the slant Rambo caught to beat NC state was an insane catch I don’t think many WR’s make.

Yeah not taking anything away from TVD but man Rambo was a G this year

Gets more impressive every time I rewatch
