With UM losing another LB on the roster lets look a potential recruit replacement in 2014 OLB Tyler Burke from Coatsville, PA.

We all know Al Golden loves digging gems out of PA, well here is a bad *** 6'4" 240lb LB that all he does is makes plays sideline to sideline his range is incredible for his size despite his stiff running style (a red-shirt year with coach Swasey in Utough, would do wonders for this young man). He has excellent hand eye coordination along exceptional body control when going up a ball in the ear. His football IQ is fairly high which is evident from his ability to read and diagnose plays quickly allowing him to rack up several tackles for loss. He won't necessarily deliver a big blow that will make the crowd go wow, but he is a tackling machine that will get you minimum 10 tackles a game, oh an is a ball hawk of Linebacker (I will take an interception over a big hit any day, turnovers win games).

As for recruiting PSU seems to be camped out at Burke's school, he told ESPN during an interview the Coach Ron Vanderlin has been to see him over 5 times.
Burke has some other offers, and would really like an ND offer but they don't seem interested, which leaves Wisconson, Maryland, Rutgers, Pitt, and NC state battling it out for the nations #40 outside LB. I am thinking AG could come in a steal another PA gem away to sunny S. Fla.

Go Canes!

wft is this new obsession you have with white LBs?

No just thought about a LB that is a play maker who is not being overly recruited that UM could also throw our hat in the ring for since we just lost one. The kid is from outside of philly so he & family should be aware of what AG did at Temple, which should help with the developing a familiarity with the coaching staff her at UM. That's it end of story, no racial preference sorry to disappoint you.

Go Canes!
