Tyler Bird

Byrd said he enjoyed the visited but when asked if anything specifically stood out, said “Nope.”

That must leave the Vols and Miami wondering.

What's Miami got to wonder about? Alright, I'll play along...

Uh, I wonder if Tyriq would've given up his number when Byrd steps on campus.

If not, I wonder who would've won in a fight.

I wonder if Byrd will be Freshman All-ACC.

I wonder how cold it will be tomorrow in Knoxville.

Once recruits start to see us WINNING again we'll hold onto more of our targets. We'll never hold onto all of them, though. Here's hoping for a Bowden like ending where we pull some kids no one saw coming.

yes bc tennessee and ole miss were doing a lot of winning before getting a lot of big time recruits. same could be said for alabama. the elite recruiting classes came before the success. why do you think that is?

Are you talking about the same Ole miss that just got in trouble for recruiting violations?

yes that one. which i don't expect anything to happen with that. especially with the football team.

Irregardless of whether they get in trouble or not. Your argument was that teams that don't win have had great recruiting classes. It's been proven and even made official that ole miss was cheating in order to get good recruiting classes.

You need to win in order to have consistently good classes

that wasnt my point. my point was that these teams are all cheating and aren't being investigated for the most part because of who's in charge of the NCAA and the revenue the conference makes. and tennessee has been mediocre and continues to recruit at an elite level without even having much prestige

sam bruce tweeted a picture of him in an ohio state jersey. he went to the all-american game with nothing but buckeyes ****.

and y'all are scared of a "10/10" visit?

I'll have some information later in regards to Byrd. Got a friend who played at UT and is still connected to the program. He said they only have a few spots left and doesn't see Latrell Williams ended up there. Said he would have more Byrd information later.

You guys have selective memories. How many times we had recruits who were committed to other programs, giving our visits 9 or even 10 only to end up where they were always committed to? Almost every time this scenario happened. I remember posters getting excited when those "late interest" recruits visiting and giving our visit 9 or 10. Then disappointment followed.

I have no idea he will flip or not but to me, rating his visit 10 means nothing tomorrow after he comes home and start thinking seriously about where he will spend the next 3 or 4 years of his life. Although I doubt a visit to a campus will change what he was thinking for the last year or longer.

Can't see a kid committing to a school that's only recruited him for a few weeks. Weirder **** has happened but I think Canes.

Bunch of chicken littles in here. He is a Cane. He was probably wowed on his visit...so.

He didn't commit on the spot. That's what usually happens when a kid really gets caught up. He gets to come home back to his cutie, and sit back to think about the situation. He is a Cane all the way. Seen this **** happen too many times.
