kids change mind all the time byrd is coming to u. grow a pair guys all said same things with bruce. byrd said tenn had alot of ground to make up to catch miami prior to visit. nothing has changed byrd is coming to u.

Quite honestly, he'd be a moron to go to that ****hole town Tennessee fans call home. He's got a shot to be a day 1 starter here, and to go to a place where he probably wouldn't get any burn this year would be mind-boggling. Not to mention Coral Gables is superior than Knoxville in almost every category

He rated his miami visit a 8 because he seen the campus so many times it was nothing new to him. In the end I believe he will choose the canes doesn't seem like a kid who would flip last minute.

Lol y'all worry soooooooo much.

He's arguably the best player in the class and his roommate / practically brother is commited to tennessee and he rated his Tennessee visit higher than his Miami visit.

Nobody is freaking out but it's silly to think he's a solid lock at this point

Maybe he comes maybe he doesn't but this visit rating crap means absolutly nothing.

I thought Bruce was gone as well. The visit just ended....it probably was a GREAT time. Let him take a few days, reflect, and see what happens. I'm not getting my recruiting panties in a bunch until i hear from him directly. I'm less concerned with his 10/10 rating (SEC visits usually are) than i am Fils-Aime going there and the fact that Miami was only 8/10.

The fact that not 1 of his American Heritage recruits followed him to Miami speaks volume. He's gonna take NO for answer my a$$

We need a plug and play corner, and Byrd is that man. Will be the toughest loss this cycle, if it happens. I'm hopeful his family and girlfriend and a little time to reflect will win out.

Consider, this trip was always going to beat Miami's. Complete change of scenery alongside his best friend. Had to expect him to enjoy it. Fingers crossed.

We will move on and survive with or without bird. .

Probably the same chump who lost his lunch when PP chose the bayou tigers.. Lol

We got rid of Golden that was the biggest recruiting hit we could have had.

He can go to Tennessee that is a mediocre program if I have ever seen one.

Once recruits start to see us WINNING again we'll hold onto more of our targets. We'll never hold onto all of them, though. Here's hoping for a Bowden like ending where we pull some kids no one saw coming.
Would be inexcusable and unacceptable to lose him. But would be par for the course. This is the kind of thing that was supposed to stop when we hired "a top coach from the SEC".

yes bc tennessee and ole miss were doing a lot of winning before getting a lot of big time recruits. same could be said for alabama. the elite recruiting classes came before the success. why do you think that is?

Are you talking about the same Ole miss that just got in trouble for recruiting violations?

He was on the trip with his best friend, and in the car with him when he fielded this call/text... what'd you want him to say? He's not gonna disrespect his friend who loves where he's going.

I'm sure the visit was awesome for him, these Florida kids rarely leave their city, much less the state, but this boy is a Cane at heart.

Lol.. It was two kids that were never gonna come to Miami anyway. Get out of your feelings. He's a great coach and give the man more than a month then judge him.
