2027 Tylan "Ty" Keys 4* RB from Poplarville, MS (Poplarville HS)

This kid is several notches below Johnson Cook. Anyone know his speed numbers? I would be surprised if he’s sub 4.5.
"There is still plenty of time for Keys to become a priority target for the in-state programs. We have been going to watch him since he was a freshman starter two seasons ago. This is a kid that instate schools have to show love. He is one of the most talented players in the nation and his build is already something to see. He also has been clocked at a 4.50 and 4.52 in the 40-yard dash."

Fonged to the Noles. Surprising

Fletcher will be out of eligibility and would have to think *at least* one of Lyle/Pringle/Marty transfer based on how the year plays out from a reps standpoint. That really only leaves Mallory as our lone younger back going into next year, so absolutely need to sign two high-level RB's.

lol. This kid is a ******* stud. The other kid can be special or Lingard…
Just curious. What did you see in the film made you think this kid’s a stud? I know the stats are impressive but I think the kid is a long strider with no particular elite traits

"It was amazing, man," Keys told InsideTheU. "Hanging out with [Favian] Upshaw, it was definitely a big change and everything. We haven't had much time to talk or anything, but built a good connection. [Mario] Cristobal's energy is amazing. Everybody's energy is amazing. I love it."

Down to Ole Miss, Miami, FSU. Will decide after OVs

Here are the highlights for the two games against Columbia High School. Poparville, Keys’ school, lost to them twice.

Keys finished the season ranked 12th in the country in rushing yards. Had 20 attempts, 238 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 28-49 loss game 1. 42 carries, 316 yards and 2 rushing touchdowns in a 14-20 loss game 2.

He has 2 rushing touchdowns, a receiving touchdown and a passing touchdown — in other words, all 28 points — in the 28-49 loss. Likewise, in the 14-20 loss he had all his teams’ points.

Columbia went 15-0 and won states.
