Ty Simpson (is not yet in the portal)

Ty can give us just as much as Beck as the floor, with potential to further develop and provide a little more than Beck did. Its a safe conservative pick.

At this point, absolute home run. I think the fan base could sleep well with this guy steering the ship. With a natural glidepath of development with more snaps, Simpson could really pop next year. But I think the floor is safe enough to provide a playoff berth.

As far as being "good enough", one could say the same about Simpson but it's more about current resume & developmental ceiling. Another year helps everyone to different degrees but I don't believe Simpson benefits as much as others. He's got momentum now and should ride it. Another year brings him to the middle of a more competitive pack, IMHO.

Moore is gone into this years draft.

The rest are all in the same boat at Simpson - if they were good enough to go R1 they would be gone this year.

Next year is Manning, and then maybe Maiavoa/Mensah. Sayin is too small and Sellers is ***.

QB talent has really gone to **** over the last few years. And the NFL ain’t exactly full of it, either.

The one I'm surprised no one mentions in that situation is Mack. I know he has a strong relationship with the HC but he is running out of time is Simpson comes back or if they handed over to Russell.

He listens to @DMoney podcasts b/c he then talks about successful NFL QBs all have experience and 1 year for Simpson isn't enough. Would be "phenomenal move" to go to Miami for a year.

Moore going back to Oregon would be so insanely stupid on his part l. He’s a likely top 15 pick right now in what is a very weak class.

He also slid in the playoff game instead of turning up field to get those two yards for a first down . Even Beck took those hits in the playoffs to get the first down
