Looks like he has until Saturday to pull his name from NFL Draft which is after Portal closes

If he enters Portal would have to be Friday but guess if he didn't re-enroll at Bama he can just show up for classes at Miami

I think people just assume it cause the draft class this year is like one of the worst of all time.

From what I recall on here, Simpson doesn’t have to enter the portal as he isn’t enrolled at Bama.

The portal is about marketing. Kids who are trying to get a bigger bag or aren't sure...enter the portal. Kids who are really wanted have their agents getting them a big bag. This is why the Leavitt stuff is stupid. If he had a real agent, he would have been able to keep it short and sweet vs doing a trip around the SE USA.

Commitments mean nothing until enrolled. I have a good feeling we will see summer transfers without a portal.
