People really wanted that guy to transfer here.
His own **** team didn't want him.![]()
I did.
He can sling a ball.
Probably would’ve been a bad culture fit though.

Dude in 10 years won’t even be allowed on the sidelines. He’ll have to pay for a ticketThis guy is a clown. No one at Bama will remember him in 10 years and he’s a career backup in the NFL. A way less talented version of Kirk Cousins.
The legacy of leading Bama to their worst record since 2007 and 3 of those losses being *** kicking's."Tarnish my legacy!?" WHAT LEGACY!?!?
Basically trying to become the next Greg McElroy.I think he knows deep down that he's not NFL material. This posturing is all to give himself a soft landing back in Alabama once he hangs up his cleats.
NCAA with its governing power will not allow any dastardly deeds to occur in CFB .Make him say no to $4M then $5M then $6M with Cocoplum house rental, private chef, chaffeur, and Ruiz can park a demo Cigarette boat out back.
Miami made $14M (plus whatever of the $9M travel money we didn't use) so far.
Make the CFP final and we pocket $20M + $12M travel.
I do not think so either, but he is being advised like he is one and currently being projected as one by some (maybe most) of the usual talking heads. He’s not a top 2 round pick imo. All the numbers that you mentioned plus only starting one year is a recipe for disaster. Unless he goes to Green Bay and sits for a couple seasons he’s gonna be a Mega Bust.
This whole bama legacy BS is so stupid. He’s not gonna be remembered by anyone at Bama. Let this Keelon Russell kid have some success next year and people will be happy that Simpson left.
It is kind of strange. Multiple interviews now he's talked about how he didn't want to play for another college team, that's why he's going to the draft. Like those were his only 2 options. Never says anything about not wanting to stay and play at Bama for another yearHey Ty question….why didn’t they try to get you to return next year?![]()
Exactly, what legacy are we actually talking about here Mr. Simpson? LolLosing by:
14 to a **** Fsu team
21 to Georgia
35 to Indiana
Is what Bama fans will remember.
The season it officially went off the rails.
To be fair Emory Williams.People really wanted that guy to transfer here.
His own **** team didn't want him.![]()
Young man is having buyer’s remorse - he knows that his “best” move was to accept our offer of being paid and being developed. But something tells me that “people” in his inner circle just couldn’t stomach him playing for Miami - convinced him that having a “legacy” of playing at Alabama was worth more. Loyalty does have its perks, but it has to be for the right reasons - and this one reeks of all the wrong reasons. But hey, to each his ownIt is kind of strange.
