Am I correct? Two straight opponents and not one hold by the their O Lines against our aggressive defense? I'm no statistician, but what are the odds of that?

Try 7. Ffs do you pay attention to the boards and games? Been talked about time and time again

They got away with more than a few obvious ones today.
Reguardless that's not why we took the L today.

I read that we hadn't seen an opposing holding call since FSU. Disgraceful. Today was pathetic. Jersey stretching holds, and no flags.

Watched one play were o lineman was ridding Thomas like a horse with both hands wrapped around his neck and no call unbelievable

I used to be ****ed about it but now I just laugh. Now I'm more annoyed that Richt won't publicly say something. I'd rather him take a few 15 yarders for being out in the refs face or take a fine from the ACC for calling out their **** to the media. Hold a 15 minute press conference and pull up still shots of about 50 holds and point out the last time the ACC refs called a hold. Then tell the ACC and their refs to eat his a$s and walk off.

Yes, I pay attention. I realize we've been getting very few holding calls all season. But two games in a row with ZERO called? I believe we at least got one or two against ND.

This is no small thing. Holding penalties are drive killers. Not getting them called disproportionately, or not at all CAN change a game. Particularly when and where they're called.

And I agree, if not Richt, somebody needs to say something in a very public way, or at least work the refs over during the game. At this point, unless they tear the jersey completely off our guy's back, they refuse to call it.

We've gone 550 defensive snaps without a hold being called.

Not one since the 4th quarter of the FSU game.

Well said.

We got beat today. But the cumulative holding bull**** we’ve seen this year had me some type of way today

You right. Us getting our **** pushed in today was all about the reffing. If only they would have called holding. :selfielol:

Richt mentioned it in his Sunday conference last week and tells the ACC every single week. Stated that they usually agree with him. Nothing gets done, which is out of his control.

Also, we haven't had a holding call go against the opposing offensive line since FSU. This isn't a 2-game thing, it's a majority of the season thing.

Did I say today's loss was all about the refs? What I said is that there has been a very disturbing and improbable trend of not calling holding against our opponents. For a foul that most say could be called on every down if you really wanted to, going 550 defensive snaps without ONE holding infraction suggests a conscious decision not to call it on the part of officiating crews. Particularly the way our defense continually blitzes and stunts. Are you cool with that?

I'm cool with beating a dog$hit 4-7 PITT team regardless of reffing.

Not that it mattered in this game, but this was their first TD drive before the end of the half....

This was PITTs finall TD drive....
