The grittiness really showed when Ole Miss had the ball with goal to go after losing Lucas for targeting and Akeem to the elbow....Trinidad finally pulled the ball for a QB run and three Canes were there... holding there really kept the **** from complete collapse

Beck is the experienced adult in the room. Again, he’s not great, but smart, tough & runs the offense.

100% Cribby! The guy came up, clutch and clutch again throughout that game. Unbelievable performance by him. Quick question for you, since the postseason is pretty much game to game and it’s almost like each game is the start of a new season. I’m pretty sure penalties don’t carry over from game to game. So that would mean that Xavier Lucas does not have to sit out the first half of the national championship game due to that BS targeting call correct? I’m pretty sure since the next game is in essence a brand new game that has no link to the previous one that that’s the case. Let me know?

Cam Newton on First Take broke down Ole Miss’ yardage. 200 something on 1st down, 100 something on 2nd down and ZERO on 3rd down. I didn’t believe him until I did the math myself. They finished with exactly 0 yards on 3rd down plays.

Obviously that means you gotta be better on early downs, but when it mattered our defense showed up. Winning on money downs is why we’re going home to play for #6

And 70 of those yards for 2nd down came on the Lacy run. So that’s a huge chunk it that down. They passed exclusively after he pulled a hammy.

It's like he has no feel for the game most of the time. We were moving the ball mostly at will just lining up and playing straight up bully ball. But Dawson has to throw in the Malicat and a flea flicker. Neither worked and set us off schedule.

Those plays were needed mid-season to spark the offense but teams are looking for those now. Find what works and run that **** until they prove they can stop it.
